Donna Loretta Anderson

Donna  Loretta Anderson, 75, passed away July 13, 2012 at the Country Manor Nursing Home in Sartell, MN.  Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m.  Wed.  July 18 at the Faith United Methodist Church in Humboldt with the Rev. Charles Luers officiating.  Interment will be at Union Cemetery, Livermore.  Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. Wed. until the time of the service at the church.
Donna Anderson, the daughter of Zeak and Mae (Bordwell) Smith was born Feb. 12, 1937 in Livermore. She grew up in Livermore and graduated from Livermore High School.  On March 26, 1955 she was united in marriage to Donald Anderson in the Methodist Church at Livermore.  The couple made their home in the Hardy and Renwick areas where they farmed until their retirement.  In 1994 , they moved to Webster City and lived there until Donald’s death in 2002 when she moved to Humboldt.  In 2010  she moved to Sartell, MN to be near her daughter and family.  She was a very active member of the Faith United Methodist Church and the woman’s circle.  She held various jobs while living in Humboldt.
Donna is survived by her daughters of Sartell, MN, Dawn Anderson and Denise (Dwight) Samson; 2 granddaughters, Jennifer (David) Hengel and Cassandra Samson of Sartell, MN; one great-grandchild, Jack Hengel (and twins expected to be born in Nov.).    She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald, brothers, Milo, Dwight, Clarence (Razz) Smith and sisters, Illean Manser and Rose Smith.
