Geraldine Ann Fuller

July 13, 1932 — March 25, 2017

Geraldine Ann (Raney) Fuller, 84, of Humboldt, passed away Saturday, March 25, 2017, at Unity Point Medical Center in Fort Dodge, IA.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Faith United Methodist Church in Humboldt. Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Fort Dodge, IA. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Geraldine is survived by her children, Larry Mallison of Quincy, IL; Linda (Hugo) Speier of Sun Tan Valley, AZ; Randy (Cindy) Mallison of Boxholm, IA; and Rodney (Barbara) Mallison of Humboldt; 15 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Dale (Judy) Blomker of Sun City West, AZ; Alan (Betty) Blomker, LaHabra Heights, CA; Brian (Shela) Blomker of Pocahontas, IA; and sister-in law, Sharon Blomker of Ankeny, IA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mryl Blomker and Bess Raney Blomker; husband, David A. Fuller; son, Bruce Mallison; brothers, Gary Blomker and Mervin Raney; and a sister-in-law.
Geraldine was born July 13, 1932. She attended Humboldt High School and Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge, IA. Geraldine was united in marriage to Donald Mallison . They were later divorced. In addition to raising five children, Geraldine worked several years as a CNA at Sisson’s Nursing Home. Later, she went to work in the upholstery business with David A. Fuller. David and Geraldine were married in March 6, 1993, and continued to run their upholstery business until they became semi-retired. At the age of 71, Geraldine attended a computer school through Experience Works and started working as a receptionist for Miracle Ear Hearing Aid Center in Fort Dodge and was still employed full-time at the time of her death.
She enjoyed fishing with her sons, Randy and Rodney. She would catch, clean, and freeze the fish they caught and have family gatherings to cook and eat the large quantities of fish. Geraldine spent her vacation time traveling the world. She went on many sightseeing trips which included Italy, Egypt, Australia, Alaska, Greece, Amsterdam, and Washington, D.C. She also enjoyed playing cards and computer games, reading and spending time with family and friends. Geraldine was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Humboldt.
