Joyce Lucille Baggs, of Humboldt, passed away August 27, 2011 at the North Care Center in Humboldt. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Chapel of the Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home in Humboldt with the Rev. Walden Paige officiating. Interment will be in Vernon Twp. Cemetery, Hardy.
Joyce Baggs was born July 1, 1923 at Hardy, Iowa where she was raised and educated. There are no immediate survivors. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Effie (Saxton) Baggs and brother Maurice Baggs. Joyce lived in Hardy until moving to Humboldt Homes in Humboldt in 1980. She was a member of the Hardy United Methodist Church and the Humboldt Faith United Methodist Church.
The Mason Lindhart Funeral Home of Humboldt is in charge of arrangements.
