Kim Dahlsten

Kim Marie Dahlsten, the daughter of Merrill and Delores (Williams) Koob was born on May 1, 1966 in Waterloo, Iowa. Her family moved to Gilmore City where she started elementary school. Following elementary school, the family then moved to Humboldt where she attended high school. On July 23, 1991, she was united in marriage to Frank Dahlsten. Frank and Kim moved to Comfrey, Minnesota and worked as a cook at the hospital. They then moved to Iowa falls to accommodate Frank’s profession and that is when they had their son Zackery. Following living in Iowa Falls, they then settled in Dakota City where they mad their home.
Kim enjoyed gardening, spending time with her son, and she especially got a joy out of seeing her son happy.
Kim is survived by her husband, Frank Dahlsten; son, Zackery Dahlsten; brothers, Gary Langford of Livermore, Rick Koob of Humboldt, Randy Koob of Humboldt, Troy Koob of Dakota City; sisters, Carla Langford of Humboldt, Darla Brockman of Iowa Falls, Brenda Dahl of Kearney Nebraska, and Lynn Dahlsten of Palmer.
Kim was preceded in death by her father, grandparents, and two twin infant sisters.
