Sheila R. Myers, 61, of Humboldt, died November 15, 2010 at Humboldt.  Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 22 at the Faith United Methodist Church in Humboldt with the Rev. Jan Burnett and Rev. Walden Paige officiating.  Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Humboldt.  Visitation with the family will be 5-8 p.m. Sunday at the church.  The Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home of Humboldt is in charge of arrangements.
Sheila is survived by her husband, Roger of Humboldt; daughters, Robin M. Myers of Humboldt and Mandy C. Myers of Clear Lake; brothers, Raymond (Jean) Stockdale of Warrensburg, MO, and Pat Stockdale; and her sister-in-law, Marlene Stockdale of Humboldt.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Marvin Stockdale.
Sheila Rose Stockdale, the daughter of Raymond and Rose (Skipon) Stockdale, was born January 4, 1949 at Fort Dodge.  She was raised in the Rutland area and attended school in Rutland and Humboldt.  She graduated from Humboldt High School in 1967 and attended Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge.  For 10 years, Sheila served as a teacher’s aid in Rutland, Humboldt, and Dakota City.  She was united in marriage to Roger Myers on September 1, 1973 at the Trinity Lutheran Church at Rutland.  Sheila retired from teaching to raise her family and in October of 1997, Sheila began her career with Kum and Go where she soon became Assistant Manager.
Sheila was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School and was active in UMW.  She enjoyed traveling with her family, especially to amusement parks, and gardening.
