Amirah McKinsey Hawes Gonder, two years old, passed away June 25, 2012 at her home. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 29, 2012 at the Oak Hill Baptist Church in Humboldt. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the church. The Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home of Humboldt is in charge of arrangements.
Amirah was born January 15, 2010 in Fort Dodge, Iowa and made her home with her mommy in Humboldt. Amirah loved life and was a beautiful active little girl who loved candy, lipstick, horses and her pink cowboy boots. Her perfect little smile was powerful enough to brighten your whole day. She loved her daddy and reading books. Dan the can man was her special friend as were her dollies and Shay’s Mastiff “Miles”. When the music started, she danced, and at night she needed her blanket. Her electric four-wheeler and her new bike with training wheels took her on trips down the driveway. Nothing was better than chocolate milk in a bottle after swimming or running with mom and picture taking was almost as fun as the trampoline with dad.
