Bonnie L. Ingertson

Bonnie L. Ingertson, 98, of Humboldt, passed away on Monday morning, July 4, 2022, at the Humboldt County Memorial Hospital.

She was born April 8, 1924, in Webster City, Iowa, the daughter of Wray and Bade (Reed) Winter. She was raised in Webster City and graduated from Webster City High School. She was united in marriage to Robert Ingertson on February 28, 1944. The couple made their home in Humboldt, where they raised their family. Once her children were raised, she attended nursing school in Fort Dodge. She went on to work for Dr. Bower in Humboldt and was later the first nurse hired at the Humboldt County Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church, Eastern Star, enjoyed traveling and spending time with her husband at their place in Arizona.

Bonnie is survived by her son, Robert D. (Vicky) Ingertson of Las Vegas, her daughter, Vicki Schwint of Humboldt and her grandchildren, Bill, Rachelle, Scott, Nick and Brandy. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert, her brother, Bill, sister, Betty and her grandson, Kenny.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Indian Mound Cemetery. A service update will be provided. The Mason-Lindhart Funeral & Cremation Service is in charge of the arrangements. www.masonlindhart.com
