Bruce L. Kirchhoff

Bruce L. Kirchhoff, 76, of Humboldt passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at his home.

Bruce was born March 8, 1944, the son of Leonard and Ruth (Holst) Kirchhoff. He grew up in Beaver Township and graduated from Humboldt High School in 1962. He attended Iowa Central Community College and graduated with his Associates Degree. He met Sandra Sleiter and the two married on August 21, 1965 in Humboldt and began a family. Bruce was very involved in his family and grandchildren’s lives, he enjoyed going to sporting events and watching stock car racing.

He is survived by his wife Sandy, children Tammy (Chad) Kuker of Humboldt and Tiffany Clay of Humboldt, sister Beverly (Marv) Albaugh of Humboldt, brother Leon (Mary) Kirchhoff of Indianapolis and sister-in-law Bert Kirchhoff of Humboldt, grandchildren Tyson, Katie, and Lauren Kuker, Tanner and Cade Kirchhoff and Brittney, Jacob and Logan Nilles. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Troy Kirchhoff and brother Gordon Kirchhoff.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Humboldt. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at the Zion Lutheran Church in the Fellowship Hall from 5-7 p.m. Burial will be held at Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
