Cheryl L. Gilbert, 59 of Fort Dodge, formerly of Eagle Grove passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge.
She is survived by her husband Jeff of Fort Dodge, her children Greg (Tenille) Rogers of Manchester, Iowa, Glenda Martin of Fort Dodge, Rebecca Castenada of Fort Dodge, Amanda (Tyler) Gutz of Pomeroy, Iowa, Jamie Gilbert of Mccallsburg, Iowa, Amy Elston of Manson and Amber (Nate) Lucht of Odebolt, 16 grandchildren, her parents Ralph & Glenda Rogers and her brother Gregg Rogers all of Atwater, California.
She was born May 20, 1961 in Branson, Missouri, the daughter of Ralph and Glenda (Bell) Rogers. She lived in and around Air Force bases in Arkansas, Michigan, California and Colorado for a number of years. She later made her home in Paris, California where she was a cosmetologist and taught cosmetology. She met Jeff in 1989 and they were married on February 15, 1992. The couple made their home in Eagle Grove and Cheryl worked at Ron’s Restaurant in Goldfield, Subway and later Fareway. She retired in 2007 and they moved to Fort Dodge in 2012. She particularly enjoyed crafts.
