Ivadell C. Fevold, age 90, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 5, 2011 at Humboldt Co. Memorial Hospital in Humboldt. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm till 7:00 pm Tue. at the Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home in Humboldt. A private family funeral service is planned. Burial will be held at Union Cemetery in Humboldt.
Ivadell was born on May 31, 1921 to Fred and Alma Hansen. She graduated from Humboldt High School in 1940 and on May 31 of the same year she married Ervin Fevold. Ivadell and her late husband, Ervin, made their home on a farm near Badger where Ivadell helped with the farm work. She later worked at Mercy Hospital in Fort Dodge and then transferred to Humboldt Co. Memorial Hospital working in the environmental department. In March of 2010 she moved to the assisted living area in the Humboldt Hospital. She was a member of the Badger Lutheran church. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved life and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her son, Les Fevold of Humboldt and daughter Vickey (Dan) Sherwin of North.Mankato, MN., grandchildren, Jenny Taylor, Tricia Greteman, Paula McMaster, Stephanee Morrison, Jacque McMaster, Scott McMaster and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Ervin, parents, sisters Winifred Hanson and Janice Jennings.
