Jane Marie (Ehrhardt) Pergande was born July 1, 1934 in Humboldt County, Iowa and passed away at the Humboldt Care Center South on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at the age of 86.
She was the daughter of the late Raymond (Orval) and Julia Ehrhardt of Humboldt. Jane was united in marriage to Herman Philip Pergande on November 6, 1954. Jane was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Humboldt where she worked as a school hot lunch cook for 19 years.
She was preceded in death by Herman, her husband of 61 years, in 2015 and infant son, Herman Pergande Jr. in 1955. Also preceded by three brothers; Ed, Art and Duane Ehrhardt and a sister, Donna Entler.
She is survived by two daughters; Jody (Robert) Brockman of Laurens, Iowa and Julie (Larry) Felix of Milford, Ohio. Also left to mourn her passing are four grandchildren; Brandy (Shawn) Bokeno of Ludlow, Kentucky, Justin Rasmussen of Rutland, Iowa, Nick (Jan) Paddon of Burlington, Kentucky and Jake Kesterson of Laurens, Iowa; seven great-grandchildren, Keagen Rasmussen, Adelle Richardson, Jessie, Andrew, Hank and Penny Paddon and Julien Bokeno as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
