Joyce A. Lee

Joyce Anne Lee, the daughter of Mervin and Lorraine (Weiss) Lowe, was born November 29th, 1950, in Fort Dodge, Iowa. She grew up in Dakota City and graduated from Humboldt High School with the “Class of 1969”.

Joyce was a hard worker and took great pride in being self-employed, cleaning homes and businesses. She also taught Sunday School at Zion Lutheran Church for over 20 years where she was a member. Joyce enjoyed sewing, baking, gardening and watching Hallmark movies. Most of all she treasured time spent with her grandchildren and keeping up with their activities.

Joyce passed away Saturday, December 4th, 2021, at Humboldt Care Center North at the age of 71 years. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Steven Lowe.

Joyce is survived by her son, Todd (Nicole) Lee of Humboldt; daughter, Terri (Jeremy) Wickre of Humboldt; grandchildren: Ryan, Christian and Reagan Lee and Abby and Jenna Wickre, all of Humboldt and sisters, Rachel Frieden of Humboldt and Kathy Lynde of Panora.
