Judith R. "Judy" Smith, 67, of Humboldt, passed away on Wednesday evening, September 14, 2022, at the Paula Baber Hospice Home in Fort Dodge.


Judith “Judy” Rae Smith, the daughter of Robert and Anna (Paul) Smith, was born July 6, 1955, at Fort Dodge, Iowa. She grew up in Fenton, Algona and the Bode area before graduating from Fenton High School. Judy worked for the Algona Theatre, Farm Egg, Dodgen Industries and was a dietary aide at nursing facilities. Judy enjoyed playing bingo, gambling, shopping, crossword puzzles and loved to cook and bake, especially banana bread.


She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gene and two sisters, Janet and Kathy.
Survivors include her husband, Calvin Williams of Lytton; four children: Tracy (Jon) Miller of Fort Dodge, Adam Williams of Rockwell City, Allyson Williams of Fort Dodge and Andrew Williams of Yetter, three grandchildren: John, Jayden and Jaxon; two sisters: Susan (Denny) Wilson of Algona, Barbara (Jeff) Hanson of Estherville and a brother, Larry (Sheryl) Smith of Algona.


Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Humboldt. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 20, 2022, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home in Humboldt. Burial will be in Union Cemetery in Humboldt.
