Kevin Johnston

Kevin Johnston, 56, of Humboldt, passed away June 16, 2015 at the Fonda Nursing and Rehab Center. Graveside funeral services will 3:00 p.m. Monday, June 22nd, at the Coon Rapids Cemetery in Coon Rapids, Iowa. Friends and family wishing to pay their respects may do so anytime this weekend at the Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home in Humboldt.
Kevin is survived by his brother, Ralph M. Johnston of Fort Dodge; sister, Joyce; and his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Edwin Johnston; infant brother, Guy; and sister, Carol Burge.
Kevin was born February 12, 1959 at Carroll, Iowa. He was taken into the loving home of Ralph and Dorothy (Bartlett) Johnston at Glidden, Iowa. The family made their homes in the communities of Burt and Renwick before moving to Humboldt. Kevin made his home in Humboldt for many years with his brother Eddie. He enjoyed the time he spent at the Humboldt Workshop. He enjoyed meals, card tricks, and working with his hands. In 2002, Kevin became a resident of the Fonda Nursing and Rehab Center in Fonda. He passed away there on the afternoon of June 16, 2015 at the age of 56. He will be lovingly remembered by his family.
