Lola M. Lynch

Lola M. Lynch, 100, of Humboldt, passed away on Wednesday evening, November 2, 2022, in the Extended Care Unit of the Humboldt County Memorial Hospital.

She was born May 16, 1922 in Fort Dodge, the daughter of Van and Lois (DeFoe) Ault. She was raised and educated in Fort Dodge, graduating from Fort Dodge High School in 1940. Lola was united in marriage to Paul B. Lynch. She loved her grandchildren, baking, doing crafts and her vegetable garden. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the VFW Auxiliary.

She is survived by her children Paul (Marion) Lynch of Humboldt, Greg (Cherie) Lynch of Iowa City and Gary (Jean) Lynch of Gilmore City, her grandchildren Jason, Melanie, Brandi, Ashley, Himena, Nellie, Lydia, William, Leslie, Mitch, Chantel and Chad, 21 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul, her parents and three brothers John, Bob and Ray.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, November 7th at St. Mary Catholic Church in Humboldt. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 6th at the Mason-Lindhart Funeral & Cremation Service in Humboldt where there will be a 3:45 p.m. Rosary and a 6:00 p.m. Vigil Service.
