Michael A. Hewitt, 64 of Humboldt, passed away on Friday evening, April 17, 2020 at the Humboldt Care Center South.
He was born January 15, 1956 in Algona, Iowa, the son of Richard M. and Beverly (Thomas) Hewitt. He grew up in Lu Verne and graduated from Algona High School. Michael worked for Exceptional Opportunities in Burt and loved Star Trek, coloring, bingo and Johnny Cash.
He is survived by his mother, Beverly Hewitt of Lu Verne, his sister, Raejean (David) Thilges of Clear Lake, a niece, three nephews and eight great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.
Services for Michael will be held at a later date. Burial will be in the Lu Verne Cemetery. The Mason-Lindhart Funeral & Cremation Service is in charge of the arrangements. www.masonlindhart.com
