Morris E. Given, 60, of Humboldt passed away surrounded by family on Thursday morning, July 16, 2020 at the Humboldt County Memorial Hospital.
He was born February 19, 1960 in Kansas City, Kansas, the son of Rudolph and Faye (Larned) Given. He was raised in Kansas City and after school worked as a medical assistant. On September 9, 2006 he was united in marriage to Patricia Weers in Kansas City. In December of 2017 the couple moved to Humboldt. Morris had a passion for life, he was outgoing and personable. He loved rock & roll, camping, fishing and was a die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fan.
He is survived by his wife Patty Given, his children Dalton (Jennifer) Given of Columbus, Ohio, Corey (Jessica) Given of Columbus, Ohio, Jesse Given of Columbus, Ohio, Austin Given of New Jersey and Mariah (Brett) Randol of Kansas City, Kansas, bonus children Angie (Phil) Martin of Butler, Missouri, Trina (Robert) McCarl of Adrian, Missouri, Kelly (Deanna) Frock of Livermore, Billy (Sam) Frock of Humboldt and Trish (Mike Slaikeu) Frock of Humboldt, 34 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Donna and Pam, and brothers David and Ed Given.
