Patrilla A. Johnson

Patrilla Ann Ridgley Johnson, 91 of Humboldt, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Humboldt County Memorial Hospital.
Patrilla was born October 30, 1929 near Rockwell City to Roger and Vera (Reager) Ridgely. She attended a rural school before going to high schools at Rockwell City, Eagle Grove and Goldfield.
On June 15, 1947 she married Harold C. Johnson at Ullensvang Lutheran Church in Thor. To this union were born Nita, Ronald and Steven. The family farmed for 43 years south of Thor before moving to Thor in 1994. In 2007 Pat and Harold moved to Humboldt. A few years later, in 2013, Harold passed away.
Pat was active in all areas of the mentally challenged, she was a life-time member of Ullensvang Lutheran Church in Thor and Ladies Aide & Circle until her health prevented her from attending. She enjoyed collecting coffee cups, beer steins and sheep. She took pleasure in reading, word puzzles and coloring in adult coloring books.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Steven, son-in-law Gene Fedkenheuer, sister and brother-in-law Leah & Robert Orslaud an grandsons Charles and Robert Lee.
Patrilla is survived by daughter Nita Fedkenheuer of Fort Dodge, son Ronald (Marlene) Johnson of Humboldt, 7 grandchildren, 15-great grandchildren and many great-great-grandchildren, her sisters-in- law Arlene Sweeney of Johnston and Dorothy Johnson of Cedar Rapids and many nieces and nephews.
Family services will be held at Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home Saturday, February 20th. Burial will be held on Saturday, July 24th at North Lawn Cemetery in Fort Dodge. www.masonlindhart.com
