Russell Hutchinson

Russell Dean Hutchinson 78, of Apache Junction, AZ, formerly of Humboldt, passed away May 12, 2015 of Respiratory Failure and Pneumonia, complicated by Parkinson's Disease. Memorial services were held on May 14, 2015 at the Desert Chapel Methodist Church in Apache Junction, AZ. The Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home of Humboldt is assisting with local arrangements.
Russ graduated from Lytton High School in 1956 and Commercial Extension School of Business In Omaha, NE. He served in the United States Army from 1959 – 1961, including 14 moths in Korea. On September 24, 1961, he was united in marriage to Sandra Jean Hayek and the couple made their home in Humboldt. Russ was employed at the Fort Dodge Laboratories for 36 years and owned and operated Russ’ TV Antenna Service in Humboldt for many years. Since their retirement, Russ and Sandie have made their home in Apache Junction, AZ.
Russ is survived by his wife, Sandie; his 3 sons, Scott of Marietta, GA; Ron of Farmers' Branch, TX; and Rob (Rhonda) of Canyon Lake, TX; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Shirley & Elmer Olson, Eagle Grove, IA; nephews & nieces; sister, Stella (Roger) Hepp, Rockwell City, IA; and sister-In-Law, Sharon Hutchinson, Brainerd, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd & Hazel Hutchinson and brother, Donald.
Russ found great pleasure in helping others and continued this after his death by donating his body to research in hopes of helping others.
