Bonnie A. Stockfleth, 90, of Humboldt, passed away on Thursday morning, July 21, 2022, at the Humboldt Care Center North following a lengthy illness.
Bonnie was born April 3,1932 in Humboldt, Iowa, the daughter of Murril and Mary (Harris) Beers. She was educated in the Humboldt area and finished her high school education in Mankato, Minnesota. She was united in marriage to Paul Sundburg in Cedar Rapids and later moved to Texas. The marriage dissolved and she returned to Iowa and married Gordon Stockfleth in 1975. The couple made their home in Humboldt and she worked at the Broadway Inn. Following Gordon’s death, she made her home in Webster City until returning to Humboldt in recent years. Bonnie had a deep affection for her family and cherished her time with them. She was also active at the First Baptist Church in Webster City.
She is survived by her children; Paul Stockfleth (Roberta Foster) of Humboldt, M. Dean (Beth) Sundburg of Eagle Grove and Theresa of Texas, eleven grandchildren; Jason Adams, Jeni Kiewiet, Edmond Adams, Tina Rollins, Joshua Sundburg, David Sundburg, Sarah Miller, Janine Foster, Ashley Radelo, Samantha Tincher and Rebecca Stockfleth, many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gordon, daughter Georgia (Jo) Hedley, her brother Donald, sisters Donna and Audrey, brother-in-law Gary and aunts, uncles and cousins.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Indian Mound Cemetery in Humboldt. The Mason-Lindhart Funeral & Cremation Service is in charge of the arrangements.
