Frank J. Marchant, 44, of Humboldt, passed away on Saturday morning, November 12, 2022 at home surrounded by his family.
He was born September 15, 1978, in Humboldt, the son of Frank and Darla (Long) Marchant. He was raised and educated in Humboldt, graduating from Humboldt High School in 1997. He was active in baseball, cross country and wrestling, was an avid fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes and the San Francisco 49ers. Frank worked in sales and carpentry where he was extremely accomplished. His biggest passion was coaching KM wrestling.
He is survived by his mother Darla Van Gronigen of Humboldt, his father Frank E. Marchant of Gilmore City, his daughters RyLee Marchant of Byron, Minnesota, Paitynn Marchant and Tayler Marchant both of Mantorville, Minnesota, his sisters Leah (Jon) Myer of Dakota City and Sarah (Gabe) Kellner of Humboldt, his grandparents Daryl and Sharon Long of Humboldt and Donna Marchant of Gilmore City, nieces and nephews Maddux and Slate Myer and Zane, Gracie and Lucas Kellner along with several aunts and uncles and his precious girlfriend Jess Schreiber of Mason City. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Frank J. Marchant.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 18th at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Humboldt. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 17th at the Mason-Lindhart Funeral & Cremation Service in Humboldt. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the discretion of the family. www.masonlindhart.com
