Inez Harders

Inez A. Harders, 64, of Humboldt, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Humboldt on Friday, November 3, 2023.

Inez was born June 11, 1959, in Fort Dodge, the daughter of Robert and Marlys (Kemp) Acheson.  She was raised in Dakota City and later moved to Northwood, Iowa, where she graduated from Northwood High School in 1977.  She returned to Humboldt and attended Iowa Central Community College where she obtained her Associates in Nursing Degree.  She was employed in the Long Term Care Unit of the Humboldt County Memorial Hospital until her retirement in May of this year.  Inez loved her family and cherished her grandsons.  She enjoyed her dogs, horses, quilting and gardening.

She is survived by her daughter, Shannon (Pete) Carlson of Gilmore City, her grandsons Bryce and Eli Carlson, her brothers and sisters; Rick (Patty) Kemp of Millersburg, Wanda (Daryl) Love of Northwood, Vicky Acheson of Humboldt, Jason Quindt of Osage, Corey Acheson of Grinnell and Justin Acheson of Northwood, her step-mother, JoAnn Acheson of Northwood, also her nieces and nephews; Sheri, Chrissy, Danneka, Derek, Danielle, Dakota, Anthony, Cassey, Destiny, Jagger & Thatcher.  She was preceded in death by her parents, grandmother Ines Scott, aunt Betty and her niece Hudson.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, November 11^th from 11:30 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. Celebration of Life Service, both at the Mason-Lindhart Funeral & Cremation Service in Humboldt.   www.masonlindhart.com
