Jeffrey Lee Paulson, the son of Jerry and Janiece (Larsen) Paulson, was born July 24, 1955 at Fort Dodge, Iowa. He was raised on a farm near Bradgate and went to school at Gilmore City-Bradgate Community Schools. Following his graduation in 1973, Jeff attended Iowa State University. He worked as a mail carrier in Humboldt before accepting the position of postmaster in Dayton. He was then appointed postmaster at Manson. In later years, Jeff took great pride in his work as a bus driver for the Manson-Northwest Webster School District until his retirement.
Jeff loved to read and always had a stack of books at his side. He got his first motorcycle at the age of 16 and throughout his life loved to ride all around the country. He loved his family and they will miss him greatly. They include his sons, Jacob Lee Max Paulson of Minneapolis, MN, and Jordan Lee (Joanna) Paulson of Iowa City, IA; mother, Janiece Paulson of Gilmore City, IA; grandchildren, Victoria and Elizabeth; brothers, Joel (Lori) of Ames, IA, Brent (Leanne) of Indianola, IA and Brian of Laughlin, NV; and nieces and nephews, Christina, Serena, Sonja, Laura, Sarah and Christopher.
