Linda K. Buckley

Linda Kay Buckley, the daughter of Earl and Irene (Suhrbier) Meier, was born July 18, 1954, at Fort Dodge, Iowa. She grew up in Clare and Barnum where she attended schools.

Linda married Dennis Buckley and together they lived in Clare, Fort Dodge, Rutland and after his passing she moved to Clarion. She tended bar in Rutland and worked at Frigidaire in Webster City for many years. She also worked at Yesway in Clarion.

Linda collected Elvis memorabilia and unicorns, enjoyed cross word puzzles and games and loved time with her family, friends and her dog, “Trouble”.

Linda passed away Friday, December 31, 2021, at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City at the age of 67 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dennis; brother, Gary and sisters, Maxine and Earla Jean.

Survivors include her children: Stefanie Graves of Spencer, Nick Buckley of Dakota City, Rick Buckley of Humboldt, Crystal Metzger of West Bend and Misty Buckley of Clear Lake; brothers: Ron (Nancy) Meier of Gilmore City, Don Meier of Gilmore City and Mike (Cathy) Meier of Dakota City; grandchildren: Amanda, Tyler, Colten, Jazmen, Ashlyn, Caleb, Makaya, Desiree and Layne as well as other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be at 12:00 p.m. with funeral services beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 7, 2022, at Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home in Humboldt. www.masonlindhart.com
