Mandy J. Merris, 43 of Temple, Texas, passed away on September 5, 2022 in Temple, Texas.
She was born April 13, 1979 in LaGrange, Illinois, the daughter of Lonnie G. Short. She graduated from Joliet West High School in 1979. Shen enlisted in the United States Army and later worked for a veterinary office. She had an affinity for pets and loved both domestic and wild. She was married to John Merris on December 1, 2018.
She is survived by her husband John Franklin Merris of Temple, Texas, her mother, Patricia “Patty” Anne Smith of Temple, her daughters Kylie Ann Cross and and Payton McKenzie both of Chicago, her siblings Andrew “Andy” Everett, Ted Munson and Melanie Ann Munson.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 3rd at Union Cemetery in Humboldt. The Mason-Lindhart Funeral & Cremation Service is in charge of the arrangements. www.masonlindhart.com
