Michael M. "Mike Chapman

Michael M. “Mike” Chapman, 76, of Humboldt, passed away at his home in Humboldt following a lengthy illness.

Mike was born July 18, 1949 in Glenwood, Iowa, the son of Marion and Joan (Tucker) Chapman. He married Millie Boswell on April 22, 1972. The couple made their home in Dakota City. Mike worked at KC Nielsen for nearly 30 years. He had a passion for stock car racing at an early age, enjoyed his work and his cats.

He is survived by his daughters, Shawnene Chapman Lougue and Charity Ann Chapman, two grandchildren Michael Chapman and Souleymane Lougue, and his brother, Mark Chapman of Sergeant Bluffs, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Milly.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 6th and visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the Mason-Lindhart Funeral & Cremation Service in Humboldt. Burial will be in Indian Mound Cemetery, Humboldt. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Moffitt Animal Shelter. www.masonlindhart.com
