Michelle Trejo

October 3, 1966 — December 20, 2019

Michelle Lee Myers Trejo was born in Webster City, Iowa on October 3, 1966 to Robert and Linda (Davenport) Myers. As a young child, she lived in Blairsburg, IA, Cherokee, IA and St. Cloud, MN with her family. She moved to Iowa Falls, IA in 1970 where she started elementary school, and attended school there through 5th grade. She moved to Humboldt, IA in 1978, and attended Junior High and High School, graduating in the Humboldt High School class of 1985.
She married Steve Cargin after high school, and to this union, Sarah and Eric Cargin were born. Michelle and Steve later divorced.

Michelle worked at Fareway in Humboldt, and later moved to Spencer, IA where she was the manager of the Dairy Department at the WalMart. She was united in marriage to Marcos Trejo on December 5, 2012. Michelle and Marcos resided in Remsen, IA. Michelle had a great interest in antiques. She loved animals, shopping on Amazon, and nonsense and laughter. She especially enjoyed her children and grandchildren, Cameron, Jayda and Erica.
Michelle was a loyal Mother, Sister and friend. She had a quirky sense of humor, and when you spent time with Michelle, she usually said something funny, and there would be a possibilty of laughting until you cried.

Michelle is survived by her husband, Marcos Trejo, of Remsen, parents, Robert Myers, and Linda Fouarge, both of Humboldt, IA, her children, Sarah Cargin of Yankton, SD, and Eric Cargin, of Australia, grandchildren, Cameron, Jayda and Erica, her sister, Alesia Johnson, of Milford, IA, four nieces, Jessica, Mallory, Miranda and Alexis, and cousins Bob and Tracy. She was preceded in death by her Grandparents, Robert & Edna (Holden) Myers, Golman & Mildred Davenport, and cousin Laura Campbell, and her “very best” Aunt Judy Cochran.

In honor of Michelle’s memory, please have a good hard laugh at something sometime soon. She would love this. Goodbye Michelle, you were loved much by all of our family. Your laughter and frivolity will live on in our hearts, until we meet again.
