Pamela L. "Pam" Hamilton

Pamela L. Hamilton, 71, of Humboldt, passed away at home in Humboldt on Wednesday, April 28, 2026 following a lengthy illness.

Pamela was born April 4, 1955 in Seattle, Washington the daughter of Gerald F. and Wanita (Schnebly) Crites. She was raised in Seattle and moved with her family to Iowa in 1969. She graduated from Algona High School in 1973. Pam made her home in Belmond and Newton where she raised her boys. She was employed at Maytag in Newton and John Deere in Ankeny. Pam retired to Arizona and moved to Humboldt in 2022 to be closer to family. She was into crafting, making flower arrangements, cooking, gardening, caring for family and had an extensive Santa Claus collection, she loved Christmas.

Pam is survived by her son, Jason Hamilton of Garner and Jesse and Jacob Hamilton of Humboldt, two grandchildren, Mason and Caleb Hamilton, her mother, Wanita Schnebly-Priebe of Humboldt, her siblings, Cherri (Brad) Peltz of Humboldt, Tim (Margaret Anne) Crites of Glendale, Arizona and Bonnie (Jim) Bradley of Bethany, Missouri, several nieces and nephews and her faithful companion, Lilly. She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at a later date and burial will be in Indian Mound Cemetery. The Mason-Lindhart Funeral & Cremation Service of Humboldt is in charge of the arrangements. www.masonlidhart.com
