Rodney G. Shadle, 66, of Humboldt, passed away on Monday, May 26, 2025 at his home in Humboldt.
Rodney Gene Shadle was born on January 27, 1959 to Dorman and Ethel “Bonnie” Shadle. He attended Humboldt Schools and graduated from Humboldt High School in 1977. Rodney worked with his dad at Shadle Salvage until his parents passing in 1990 and 1991. He then worked for Corn Belt as a night watchman until his facility was closed. He later worked at Frigidaire in Webster City for a short time, then spent many years employed at Hardees until his retirement. Rodney enjoyed Louis LaMoore books. He could talk for hours about wars, battles and the weaponry used in them being a Medieval Times enthusiast.
Rodney is survived by his sister and brother-in-law Pat & Dave Stein of Dakota City and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother “Dean” Shadle and sister-in-law Pam Shadle.
Graveside Services will be held in the near future and announced prior to the burial in Union Cemetery, Livermore. The Mason-Lindhart Funeral & Cremation Service is in charge of the arrangements. www.masonlindhart.com
