Stephanie C. Rasmussen

Stephanie Rasmussen, 72, of Goldfield, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at her home near Goldfield.

Stephanie was born June 15, 1953 in McCook, Nebraska the daughter of Duane Eugene Croft and Betty Elizabeth Joan Guyan. She moved with her family at an early age to Canton, Ohio then Toledo where she graduated from high school. She attended college and became a phlebotomist working in the hospital setting for a large Toledo hospital. Stephanie was introduced to Bruce Rasmussen in Ohio and the couple made their home after a time in Iowa and were married on October 20, 2000. In Iowa, Stephanie worked for Rotary Ann Senior Living, Iowa Specialty Hospital in Clarion and in retirement Casey’s General Store in Clarion. She enjoyed camp fires and time with friends.

Stephanie is survived by her husband, Bruce of Goldfield, step-son, Ryan Rasmussen of Fort Dodge and siblings; Robert, Timothy and Todd, sisters, Martha and Carrie. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Memorial Gathering, Celebration of Life will be held at the Renwick Community Center, Saturday, June 13th at 2:00 p.m. The Mason-Lindhart Funeral & Cremation Service in Humboldt is in charge of the arrangements. www.masonlindhart.com
