About Us | Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home

History & Staff

We have years of experience caring for families, from all walks of life. Each family comes to us because they know we are leaders in our profession, dedicated to excellence in service, and have the highest integrity.

Our History

This Funeral Home has served Humboldt County for over 80 years under the professional guidance of Alex Duncan (1929 – 1953), R.A. “Heinie” Skaugstad (1935 – 1947), Harvey Bogaard (1947 – 1959), Ray Lindhart (1959 – 1974), Scott Mason (1974 – 2000), Lincoln Mason (2000 - 2018), and now William Jorgensen since 2018. It has been often said that these men were here to take care of those who have died. In actuality, we are here to care of you, the ones left behind, to honor your loved ones the way in which you wish them to be honored.
